Next Day Cremation
We see you, Tyka. We see your designer purse, and your Flaming Hot Crunchy Cheetos.
When Prince Rogers Nelson died suddenly, the world was stunned. He is singing, performing on stage, having parties and then he is found dead in an elevator on Thursday – April 21st, 2016 . Compounding this nightmare is his sister Tyka Nelson who cremated her brother’s body the very next day, Friday – April 22nd, 2016. See article: Prince cremated in $1,645 service.
The interesting thing is that the Carver County Sheriff’s Office rushed everything through. CCSO is claiming that the fast cremation was because they were concerned that Prince’s body would go missing. You like that wouldn’t you, retired Sheriff Jim Olson? This is the same person that stood in front of the world and announced at the press conference that the Prince death investigation “would leave no stone unturned.” Actually, there are plenty of stones, and huge boulders were left unturned. The most basic tasks such as Prince’s fingerprints were neglected, there is no record.
CCSO is the main obstacle in this cover up of the Prince death investigation. According to Minnesota state laws, the death certificate has to be filed with the vital statistics office before a cremation is allowed. Not only did the Chief Medical Examiner autopsy examination funnel through this next day cremation speed train, the death certificate had to be pushed in front of the line at the vital statistic office on this next day cremation speed train. Did CCSO comply with all the state laws, were any laws broken by pushing this next day cremation?
When a person this famous dies, the procedures should take longer, be methodical and standardized for good reason. CCSO is well aware the many people will be interested, and asking many questions. A complete and thorough investigation is what is deserved by Minnesota taxpayers, and Prince fans around the world. CCSO is where the sham investigation started, and this fiasco continues to be perpetuated by Carver County Sheriff’s Office.
Tyka Nelson agreed to crisp her brother’s body to dust the very next day after he died, and she went along with CCSO recommendation. Little did the fans know, while they were flocking to the gates of Paisley Park to pay their respects to their fallen brother Prince, he was already ashes. On Friday, the next day after Prince’s body was found in the elevator, he was no more. Below is photo from Friday, April 22nd, the very next day after Prince’s body was found. Seen in photo below, Tyka Nelson is leaving the crematorium with Prince’s ashes in an urn carried by her son, President. Tyka is carrying her designer handbag, and Flaming Hot Crunchy Cheetos in case anyone missed anything over there.

It is beyond odd that he was cremated so fast. Even though I am sure no-one wanted him to be laying around in a morgue or freezer, they barely had any ideas why he died at this point and even an autopsy doesn’t always reveal these things. It wasn’t for religious reasons and in the absence of a will how did they even know this was his true wish. Yes Tkya was the closest blood relative to him alive, but as no will was around to express that he wanted a cremation it just seems odd to me that the decision was taken so abruptly. They supposedly didn’t even have the toxicology results back at this time to know that Fentanyl was the thing that killed him, so the Autopsy should have been inconclusive at this point, and I am surprised they did not have to wait for the full screen of results to come back before releasing his body for cremation so quickly. The fact that the person who did the autopsy didn’t even follow the standard “must do” procedure of taking fingerprints is also very suspicious. If this is protocol she should be made to answer why she didn’t do what was the process for a Medical Officer to follow. For an experienced medical examiner to not do this, or for their assistants not to check the finger prints and all elements of the autopsy were complete surely was a standard process. Even a tick list or something. I cant imagine they just “start and finish as they please”. I understand after an autopsy his body may have been in a poor state, but my understanding from seeing YouTube videos , is a cremations take 3 hours to happen, plus a couple of hours for cooling. Therefore to me, Tyka and the family were walking away with his ashes far too quickly for what should be normal. The entire situation around his death is suspicious, and I am grateful that this page has been created to shine some light on the circumstances around Prince’s death. Will we ever get the truth. I doubt it, but thank you for shining the light on this.
Sadly, Tyka Nelson had to undergo the cremation services too soon for his brother, the Icon Prince. My wife and I are huge prince fans.
Everything about his death is suspicious, from his actual death to the botched investigation by the keystone cops, who failed in their duty of care. It’s not normal to have someone cremated the day after death. The only reason you would do so is to hide something. I see lies and deceit. Many people know more than they’re saying. I don’t know how they can sleep at night. He was kept from the very people who supported him and adored him – us, his “fams”. We meant more to him than anything and yet he was kept from us, a private service attended by only family and a few “special” celebrities, denying us closure. Compared to MJ’s funeral which his family shared with the world, this was a disgrace. Three and a half years later and we are no closer to learning the truth. This isn’t going to go away. Lies never stay hidden
Prince had his son Amir cremated just as fast as he was. The crematory belongs to WB. Let that sink in.
Everything about his death is strange!!!! Flu-like symptoms, Next-Day-Cremation, the entire thing really was a ‘SPEED TRAIN.”
Amen and Amen again!!!
How could she eat Flaming hot cheetos while her brother is up in flames ?
Strange choice of props. It is hard to imagine that she did not know the cameras were following her.
No disrespect to anyone on this board at all .. I am just as angry but I couldn’t help it I truly love your post .. you put it in a great way
No Joke, I wondered that too!!! Yikes!!!
Why have the CCSO not solved this case? I don’t think they’re trying at all. They the ones working the case need to be fired and a whole new crew brought in. Prince gave so much and so much for the state of MN and the world. And this is how they treat him? I hope they can look themselves in the mirror every day.
I agree completely, they are just concerned about themselves. These are not real sheriffs, nor detectives, at least not at all in the sense that most people understand the terms.
