Even though this was a homicide investigation, Prince’s fingerprints were not obtained before he was quickly cremated the next day, Friday April 22, 2016.

Prince’s desktop computer and his laptop were also neglected, and left behind at Paisley Park, unsecured. When the investigators came back with a search warrant 5 days later, the laptop was moved from the bedroom to behind a locked door.
