Flipping Phaedra
During the audio interview of previous business manager Theo London Johnson, he talks about how social activist Phaedra Ellis Lamkins was introduced by Van Jones as someone who could help Prince out of his Warner Brothers contract. Working with Los Angeles intellectual property attorney Rhonda Trotter, they were able wrestle Prince away from WB in 2014.
Prince’s previous assistant Mariah Brown expressed how she was surprised when Phaedra then flipped; it didn’t seem to make sense that Phaedra kept pushing Prince into returning to WB. Theo also said that Phaedra would ask about the other offers Prince was considering, and then come back a day later with better numbers. Listen to Mariah’s audio interview link below.
Phaedra is a social activist that branched to music, from Van to Prince, and from Prince to Tidal, and to JayZ. Looks like opportunistic branching is her modus operandi. It would not be a surprise if Phaedra went to WB, and told them that she had the ability to get Prince signed up back to them.
Theo explains at 22:40 on his audio interview that Judith Hill called Phaedra because the doctor in Moline told her it was dire, Prince needed medical help immediately. Judith said that Phaedra said Prince was just sleepy and would not bulge until it was too late. She ignored Judith’s pleas until it was too late. Something is not adding up. At 28:20 Theo talks about the Estate is looking for a lot of missing money from Prince’s music publishing. Entertainment attorney Traci Bransford is looking for the missing publishing money.
Phaedra Ellis Lamkins petitioned the court, and demanded documents, and for access to his confidential matters in December 2016. And all this after she failed her former boss, Prince and he died while she sat on her hands. Court document: Petitioner Phaedra Ellis Lamkins vs Tyka Nelson.
Shortly after Prince’s passing, Phaedra purchased a house in the San Francisco bay area. She is moving on up. The IRS should really look into all those cash charity concerts set up by Phaedra, her BFF criminal defense attorney Diane Prappier, and Van Jones set up for Prince. Also, was the IRS really paid millions from Prince’s publishing royalties as Phaedra kept telling Prince month after month? Phaedra was seen shredding papers at Paisley Park while Kirk Johnson deleted files off Prince’s computer. See image below from the investigation files.

The investigators and the Police arr waiting for aomething to develope before they prematurely walk into a conviction and a court room. They know something was up they are just waiting for something to happen to slot or come out of the darkness.
I think Prince was bullied set up. Cause didn’t he fire meron already? That Andrew? Ugh!
Meron was still working for Prince as his personal assistant. She had over $3000 cash in her purse on the day Prince was found in the elevator.
Why would he have went for a Percocet prescription the day before he died if he had all these pills at home. This makes no sense something is wrong.

Phaedra disrespected her boss. She did not transfer money to the Jimmi Hendrix filmproject. She did not send money to Apollonia6. She laughed at him, according to Theo. That kind of character is she.

Why did she shred Prince’s documents and files off his laptop after he was killed? Why did she have his publishing rights in her name?
Sadly, the Carver County Sheriff’s Office investigation found more questions, than answers.

Phaedra has avoided the authorities and the investigation, she has never spoken about it. Other than the secret communications between Phaedra, Meron, and Kirk on WhatsApp, the messaging app that has end to end encryption.
Can U plz tell me how U know bout them talking on Whatsapp? Never heard that. Nothing surprises me at all.
Is in the investigation files, detectives know that the suspicious circle was using encrypted messaging.

He did get the masters back he even set up a website to handle the administration of them and the publishing. Due to a 1978 law each year one album has to be returned. He wanted them all back at once with the condition that WB would license, distribute and remaster the back catalog. He then threw in two albums. He was not signed to them as an exclusive artist.
